This position will be responsible for sourcing and closing marketing-qualified leads through outbound and inbound contact campaigns. Support a market in conjunction with direct sales including responsibility for identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining customer-satisfaction levels, retaining profitable customers, and selling Birch services. This position has great career progression potential for outside sales.


Duties:Responsibilities:

Solve Business Problems: Be a trusted advisor to Birch’s direct sales professionals and customers. Use your business and consulting skills to help existing customers understand opportunities to serve their own customers, save resources, secure information and sustain systems. You will utilize a broad base of tools and resources to provide the best solution for each customer, making technology accessible.

Embrace Continuous Learning: Learn to sell and master an understanding of Birch’s product suite.

Manage Your Work: Manage your contact records in customer management system drive efficient and productive interactions. Follow Birch sales cadence to mirror field based sales organization and align interactions across the teams.

Forge Productive Relationships: Build relationships with all Birch sales channels. Partner with sales channels to achieve individual and corporate objectives.



Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Have a high energy, dynamic personality with a sense of urgency, and a strong commitment to working within a team-oriented environment.
Must be self-motivated and goal oriented, with a disciplined work ethic. Prior work experience is required.

Demonstrated ability to work without a lot of structure or direct supervision.

Demonstrated ability to quickly form business relationship with executive level professionals.
Desire and ability to seek, generate, and acquire new sales opportunities.

Possesses superior follow up skills with the ability to respond and negotiate under pressure.

Effective communication skills via phone, email, web chat and in person. Strong listening skills are a must.

Ability to learn complex technical products and solutions.

Sales experience with strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated interest in technology and working knowledge of computers and networking.

Willingness to work varied shifts as dictated by the geography of assigned customer base.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Business or marketing degree preferred.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Desired:

A minimum of 1 - 2 years successful New Business sales experience, incorporating Lead Generation with value/service selling in a technology related industry, preferred with strong Microsoft knowledge

Prior industry sales experience in a technology background or highly complex environment, preferably in a business to business services organization.

Documented, prior sales experience with a track record of success.
